I think it comes a good time to review the progress, successes and failures of the New Deal Scandal site.

New Deal Scandal is a blog designed to expose the Governments New Deal scheme, the New Deal prime contractors and New Deal subcontractors defrauding the system, the Flexible New Deal, Welfare Reform and the Government’s obvious intent of knowing about the poor conditions imposed on Jobseekers while refusing to do anything about it other than making it worse.

The best New Deal poem

Ok, there was only one but was emailed to me by Blackpool Lad off this website.Hope you like!

ODE TO THE NEW DEAL

When I misbehaved at school,
I went in detention.

Played around, and broke the rules,
I went in detention.

Failed to hand in homework,
I went in detention.

Forgot my P.E. kit,
I went in detention.

Called the head a daft old git,
I went in detention.

On my last day at school, I thought,
Great, no more detention.

But I was wrong!

32 years later,
Again I’m in detention.

I haven’t got a job,
So they’ve put me in detention.

Endlessly searching for jobs (that don’t exist)
Is just like being in detention.

Some say that I’m a lazy slob,
Who deserves to be in detention.

But I’m not a slob, a scrounger, waster, or dole queue dosser,
I feel I need to mention.

The Labour government are to blame for this,
I’d also like to mention.

To get them kicked out at the next election,
That is my intention.

Make sure it’s yours!

(Don’t vote con-servative though!)

Future Flexible New Deal

    ken says:

the site has been the upstanding for the unemployed and the difficulties experienced on programs like new deal, thus the reality.
when many have the same issues and complaints there is clearly something wrong in the whole process of these programs that were supposedly designed for the back to work hopes of the jobless.
this clearly hasnt happened, with poor thought large sums of money ploughed into what appears little outcome only benefiting those private sector companies bank balances.

the series benefit busters exposed some of the realities of the benefit system and the failures of companies such as A4e to provide solutions to todays’ real problems in the world of employment and the hard realities faced, nowhere in the world would 700 million pounds be pumped into an organisation that was repeatedly failing in any objectives, assuming there was any.staff corruption has finally brought this company into the headlines placing itself before those it was supposed to help the long term jobless along with others that were operating similar tactics including working links mentioned as being part owned by the government.

this has totally undermined any confidence in these companies with unemployed people and the wider general public. as was seen on the channel 4 comments until they were removed.the unemployed seeing no substance or backbone in genuine attempts to fulfill their needs. and the public seeing their money squandered in large sums has brought condemnation.
